A great day to celebrate for Porsche.   The 356th engineering item since their beginning was their first car called the “Type356-01″. Porsche N01 can be viewed at the “Porsche Museum” in Stuttgart, Germany.  The value of the “Type356-1″ is priceless! Milestone: Porsche Founded 81 Years Ago Today – WOT on Motor Trend.    

Here is a rare view of the “Type356-1″ showing the dual pipe exhaust system.  We consider this exhaust system pretty advanced for a 1948 mid engine roadster.  Look more closely and you will see a few interesting 356 coupes.  We encourage all to visit the “Porsche museum” in Stuttgart Germany.

The 2006 Miura Concept designed by Walter de’Silva was simply a way to mark the fortieth anniversary of the original Lamborghini supercar. de’Silva did such a great job of re-imagining the iconic Miura that there were numerous call for a production version.  What do you think about the vision and value of retro concepts?
